FILM - Special Feature Norman McLaren Revisited Norman McLaren 1949-1971 Canada 15min (compilation) Canadian experimental filmmaker Norman McLaren completed 60 films during his 50 year career. His films are a galaxy of techniques and themes which interested McLaren. He was perhaps the most eclectic of all filmmaker in the first 100 years of the history of the new art of cinema. Many of these films were hand-made animations in which both sound and visuals were created entirely by McLaren drawing directly on the film with ordinary pen and ink. This special retrospective will be compiled from the following 5 titles spanning from 1949-1971 : Le Merle (1958), Lines Horizontal (1961), Begone Dull Care (1949), Synchromy (1971), Loops (1952)
