A father, his son and family dog go out for a day of ice fishing, the goal : male bonding. But the day is cut short when the ice proves to thick to get through. The father and son find themselves in a struggle to break through the frozen lake, and through the ice of their relationship. With the help of the family dog, the ice is broken but at what cost? This explosive comedy makes your average 'bad day' look like a blessing.
